Easy Elephant Ear Cookies

Easy Elephant Ears 🐘✨

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed, but still chilled)

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Sprinkle half the sugar mixture on your work surface, then place the puff pastry sheet on top.

Gently press the pastry with your hands to help soften the dough. Flip it over and repeat on the other side.

Sprinkle the rest of the sugar mixture evenly on top of the pastry.

Using a butter knife, make a light line down the middle of the pastry to show where the two sides will meet.

Roll the left and right edges toward the center so they meet at that middle line.

Slice into ½-inch pieces and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Sprinkle any extra sugar on top of the pieces for extra crunch.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

Let cool slightly before enjoying your sweet, crunchy “elephant ears.” 🐘💛
