Easy Frog and Toad Cookies 🐸🐢
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
Optional for fun:
Green sprinkles (for Frog)
Brown sprinkles (for Toad)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until combined.
Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch) and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Flatten slightly with your hand.
(Optional) Add green sprinkles for “Frog” cookies, and brown sprinkles for “Toad” cookies.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
